We have created a team of experienced treatment, management and administration professionals at M-Brace who work together, each in their own branches and seamlessly across all three practices. Their main priority is to ensure you are listened to so that you achieve fantastic results, in a comfortable and welcoming environment.

Specialist Orthodontist, Dr R R Mahesh

Dr Mahesh founded M-Brace in 2009. He is a highly qualified and award winning Specialist Orthodontist who heads the teams at his three practice locations. To find out more about Dr Mahesh,click here.

Orthodontic Therapists

Orthodontic Therapists are dental professionals who are registered with the General Dental Council. They start their careers as Dental Nurses and after one year’s experience undergo a further 45 weeks’ full time training to achieve a Diploma in Orthodontic Therapy (DipOT) from the Royal College of Surgeons.

Orthodontic Therapists assist the Specialist Orthodontist to fit, adjust and remove braces and work to the prescription of the Supervising Orthodontist. They can also carry out emergency treatments in the absence of an Orthodontist such as relieving pain, or making appliances safe.

We are proud to be one of the few clinics in the UK to thoroughly embrace the role of Orthodontic Therapists.

Treatment Coordinators

Treatment Coordinators are an essential part of your orthodontic journey. They are your first point of contact, and work closely with the rest of the team to make sure you are supported throughout your treatment by guiding you through your treatment plan, booking your appointments, and spending time answering any questions you may have.

  • Our Treatment Coordinators, Pamela and Lisa, are who you will see for your first first, complimentary, consultation where they will give you all the information you need to make a decision about taking the next step. They will also be available at the next appointment which will be a clinical consultation with our Specialist Orthodontist, Dr Mahesh.
  • They are able to provide you with all the information you need to make an informed decision about the type of treatment you would like, whether that is Invisalign, fixed, or lingual braces, as well as providing details about fees and what best suits your budget.
  • They will be the ones who arrange your clinical consultation with our Specialist Orthodontist, Dr Mahesh, and be with you so that by the end of the appointment you will have a full and clear treatment plan.

Management

The team is headed by our Practice Manager who oversees recruitment, staffing, finance, and the business functions of the practice so that everything around your treatment is as well-organised as possible. She is supported by her Practice Administrators who will make sure that everything regarding your appointments and patient experience runs smoothly.

Orthodontic Nurses

Dental Nurses work closely with the Specialist Orthodontist, and the Therapists, their role includes many duties, such as preparing the equipment and processing x-rays. They are highly qualified and many possess radiography and impression-taking qualifications; all of them are registered with the General Dental Council. Our nurses are dedicated to creating a friendly, caring environment where you can feel supported and reassured, making your orthodontic journey as comfortable as possible.
